Spring is the perfect time to consider upgrading your heating and air conditioning system or installing a whole house fan.
Temperature-wise it is a good idea because if you’re going to be without your heater or air conditioner while the new system is being installed, the weather is typically mild and you won’t be too hot or too cold during the installation process.
You will also be ahead of the panicked rush of customers who wait until their air conditioner poops out on them. Longer lead times will leave them uncomfortable in the hottest season.
And did we mention, rebates and other incentives that are typically only available in the shoulder seasons (Spring and Fall)? Many manufacturers and utilities have incentive programs for swapping out your old energy sucking equipment for higher energy saving systems.
Let’s see how you can stack your savings by replacing your heating and air system in the off season!
We are offering a pre-season discount of $250 off any installed Quiet Cool whole house fan between now and April 20th.
Beginning April 1st through June 30th American Standard will have instant rebates direct to you between $200-$650.
Thinking of converting from a gas heater to an all-electric heat pump? SMUD has a mail-in rebate of $2000-$3500. Already have a heat pump? Upgrade to a higher efficiency system and receive $750 back off the replacement.
Roseville Electric customer? You’re in luck! Incentive of $1000 to convert from gas to heat pump or $500 to upgrade an existing heat pump. Roseville Electric customers can also save $200 for installing whole house fans or $100 for smart thermostats.
Those planning on replacing their gas heat with an all-electric heat pump or dual fuel system can also stack the American Standard and their local utility rebates with the state’s TECH Clean California program receiving a $1000 instant rebate!
And lastly, for those who qualify there is a Federal Tax Credit thanks to the IRA Act of 2022. Heat Pump systems are eligible for up to $2000 and traditional Air Conditioning systems up to $600. Please consult your tax professional to see if you qualify.
Of course restrictions such as system types and efficiency ratings apply. All utility and state programs are available until funds depleted. Call us at 916-481-0658 or reach out here for more details.
