We Give Contractors a Bad Rep…

medicine

Finding a reputable HVAC Contractor shouldn’t give you heartburn!

I have actually had customers tell me this before!  We show up on time, we do what we say we are going to do, and we try and leave our work area cleaner than we found it.

Now obviously every job doesn’t go seamlessly, but we really try to make sure every job goes as planned by double and triple checking our own work.

What do I mean?  When we come out to give an initial estimate for a HVAC system replacement, I will leave you with a quote in writing of what we plan on doing and what you should plan on paying.  But then we send out my installation manager, Steve, who has been working with us since the 80’s!  Needless to say, he knows a thing or two.  He will double check that everything we plan on doing can be done and there aren’t any red flags of things that need to be brought up to current building codes that I may have missed.

If my eyes have seen the job, and Steve has verified the job, if for any reason our heating and air installation technicians notice something that needs to be done to make the installation better, they are just going to take care of it!  We won’t charge you any extra that agreed upon while we have your system torn apart.  Now… that isn’t to say that if you ask for us to install a bathroom ventilation fan while we’re out there, we aren’t going to charge you for an add-on, but we won’t under any circumstances add on for unforeseen issues we should have caught in the first (or second) place.

Finding a contractor you can trust is really daunting.  We understand that.  Here are a few tips to help you with ANY home improvement projects you’re planning for your abode.  Straight from the CA License Board, Better Business Bureau, and more…

  • Check the contractor’s license in your state www.cslb.ca.gov
  • Ask them for copies of their worker’s compensation and liability insurances
  • Make sure they are pulling a permit in your city or county
  • Don’t pay an excessive down payment – in CA it is $1000 or 10% of the job, whichever is less.
  • Get multiple bids to compare companies services and go with the company you feel most confident in!
